Your Role in Our Team
We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer with expertise in developing solutions and mobile applications for machines, along with a strong background in PLC programming. Your main task will involve designing and executing inventive solutions to improve the functionality, efficiency, and connectivity of our machines, utilizing your PLC programming skills to ensure seamless integration and performance.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with diverse teams to comprehend customer needs and create innovative solutions and mobile applications for machines that meet or surpass expectations.
- Utilize your software development skills to craft user-friendly interfaces and features for mobile applications, enhancing user experience and functionality.
- Develop communication protocols and interfaces between machines and mobile applications to guarantee smooth connectivity and data exchange.
- Apply your PLC programming knowledge to develop control systems and logic for machines, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of solutions and mobile applications, promptly addressing any issues.
- Integrate solutions and mobile applications into existing machine systems in collaboration with engineering teams, ensuring compatibility and performance.
- Offer technical support and expertise to internal stakeholders and customers, including training and troubleshooting.
- Stay updated on automation and mobile app development trends, providing valuable insights and recommendations to the team.
- Document solution and application development processes for knowledge transfer and documentation standards.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. A Master's degree is advantageous.
- Proven experience in software development, particularly in solutions and mobile applications for machines.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Kotlin, Swift, or React Native for mobile app development.
- Knowledge of PLC programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagram programming.
- Experience with PLC hardware and software platforms like Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Schneider Electric.
- Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working in cross-functional teams.
- Proactive approach to learning and staying updated on software development and automation technologies.
- Prior experience in a similar role in manufacturing, automation, or industrial machinery is beneficial.
