At iBET, we leverage scientific and technological knowledge in Health&Pharma and Food&Health.
We offer state-of-the-art R&D infrastructure for cellular bioengineering and biology research, including flow cytometry, cell sorting and microscopy, in addition to a Mass Spectrometry Unit and a Late-Stage R&D and Bioproduction Unit.
We will soon expand our R&D activity with the inauguration of the new iBET Biofarma building, equipped with state-of-the-art technology in our field.
Admission Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in biological/biomedical engineering or equivalent, lowest grade (17/20);
- Experience in human stem cellderived neural cultures;
- Experience in 3D cell culture and stirredtank bioreactors;
- Previous experience with cancer cell lines (preference to glioma cell lines);
- Independent user in the following analytics: protein detection techniques (immunofluorescence) and gene expression (RNA extraction, RTqPCR);
- Experience in confocal microscopy and image analysis;
- Proficient use of the English language.

Workplace:
The project will be developed at the Advanced Cell Models Laboratory of the Animal Cell Technology Unit of Instituto de Biologia Experimental e Tecnológica, under scientific supervision of Dr Giacomo Domenici and Dr Catarina Brito.
Fellowship Duration:
The fellowship will have a duration of 6 months, renewable for other 6 months, without prejudice of the maximum limits foreseen by law.

Applicants who do not meet the above admission requirements will not be eligible.
