Customer Services Buyer

Airbus GBS Portugal is growing and we are looking for a new member for the Customer Services team

Main responsibilities

  • Be the Procurement focal point for the Missing Parts project, taking part in the VSM definition and deployment, among other activities required.
  • Lead the task force to reduce the current backlog of RFQs (including coordination with subcontractors)
  • Manage sourcing (CFTs, RFPs,etc) in order to cover portfolio, forecast & demands out of portfolio
  • Negotiate new set up agreement, monitoring contract compliance with Airbus Atlantic in the frame of the "Reshape Supply Chain" project
  • Support sourcing strategy for new CES work package (OEMs standards breakdown) into TOPMR Customer Services scope
  • Influence and interact across MFT functions ensuring proper project execution.
  • Identifies & leads value creation projects and supports product /service innovation
  • Project status reporting
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in engineering or business administration
  • Experience in the aerospace sector would be a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage big databases
  • Strong SAP and Excel Skills
  • Team spirit and able to work in a dynamic environment
  • High level of motivation to lead complex projects
  • English: Negotiation level
  • Spanish or German would be a plus
