PFS SENIOR consultant - ASC service industries

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES


To strengthen SAP's Adoption Services Center for the Service Industries Unit, we have an open position for a Senior Consultant in
Professional Services (PFS).


The key purpose of the unit is drive innovative service portfolio management and package what SAP is best at in the Services Industries to deliver reduced T2V and TCO to our customers.

We also lead thought leadership initiatives to drive our customers' agendas and help them get optimal value from SAP throughout the entire engagement life cycle (primarily large customers).

Here is a summary of the key activities to perform:

  • Support in escalated projects
  • Performance of feasibility studies / solution reviews
  • Support of presales activities
  • Taking over responsibility from time to time as a sub project team leader
  • Takes responsibility from time to time as team lead and supports respective line manager(s) in people development tasks
  • Detailed planning of process implementation
  • Define detailed blueprint for development requirements
  • Develop and Assure quality of process models
  • Demonstrating profound knowledge of modeling standards and tools

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • A proven 10+ year industry experience in Services Industries, ideally from Professional Services Industry.
  • Proven track record for having led the setup of a E2E integrated system,
    SAP professional services cloud and SAP Industry cloud solutions

  • Practical SAP solutions integrations
    :SAP EPPM, PFS S/4 HANA FI CO PS SD MM
:

  • Experience with competitors and BestofBreed solutions is beneficial.
  • Good experience in the Customer Engagement Life cycle from requirement identification, consulting and presales through to design, build and implementation.
  • Project Management and consulting methodology skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, resultoriented and effectiveness in problem solving.
  • Excellency in conflict management and deescalation.
  • Ease in presenting complex information to customers in a clear, well documented, and trustworthy manner.
  • Considered an advantage to have an established airlines industry network: internal (SAP Development, IBU) and external (customers, influencers, and partners).
  • Team player and ability to work successfully in culturally diverse environments.
  • Strong networking and customer relationship management capabilities.
  • Natural ability to coach, share, document and transfer knowledge to colleagues to rapidly increase SAP's capacity to deliver and grow the organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Creative individual who can provide expert services, best industry practices and advice to strategic customers and outline tobe strategy and system architecture to successfully implement a E2E solution for a EC&O customer.
  • Proactively support sales and consulting colleagues with opportunity qualifications and executions.
  • Support responses to RFX and assess project risks and costs based on deep solution and industry knowhow.
  • Propose innovative delivery models (e.g. Integrated Service Delivery) to make an SAP difference to our customers by reducing project risks and costs.
  • At any time in a project phase, capable to take over responsibility as the project and program leader for specific work packages or the entire project.
  • Know how of innovative SAP partner solutions like Twenty5, Replicon and ProFinda is added advantage.
  • Be exemplar in teamwork. Support a strong growth in global Services Industries team.
  • Collaborate closely with relevant internal SAP Practice Groups and Task Forces for optimal leverage both ways.
  • Close collaboration with SAP Development, SAP Custom Development and the S.I. IBU team to define key functional requirements related to
    SAP Professional services cloud and SAP EPPM for a PFS customer

  • Lead the definition and delivery of an SAP predefined service for Services Industries involving all stakeholders to deliver a true example of "best practice".
  • Run customer workshops and deliver education sessions.
  • Work proactively with partners and the SAP Services ecosystem to deliver the correct SAP Services and Support offer to ensure successful SAP projects.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and keep up to date with all industry and solution related development and ensure that such knowledge is disseminated appropriately according to the Knowledge Management framework in SAP Services.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years' experience in Professional Services.
  • 5+ years international work experience.
