WHAT YOU WILL DO
Amgen is recruiting for an Accounts Payable (AP) Associate to join our Procure to Pay (P2P) team.

This team member will be responsible for delivering consistent, high-quality, and fully compliant AP and Disbursement support to our business partners for specified countries in the European market.

This role will report to the European P2P Service Owner and will be based in the Amgen Capability Center in Lisbon, Portugal.


Primary responsibilities include:

  • Execute various Accounts Payable activities including performing AP corrections based on feedback from local affiliates and conduct regular maintenance of the vendor ledger.
  • Support specific Disbursements activities including processing Payment Exception Requests submitted by local affiliates and work closely with dedicated team on cash account maintenance and failed payment reversals and resubmissions.
  • Support Master Data management activities including 2nd level vendor validation requirements.

Basic Qualifications

  • To be updated by HR for GCF 3
Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree or certification in business or any other quantitative discipline
  • 2+ years experience in Procure to Pay processes or similar field
  • Experience working in SAP
  • Experience working in Ariba
  • Bilingual in English + German, Italian, French, Spanish or Russian
  • Demonstrated experience in AP activities
  • Datadriven problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work within a semiautonomous environment
