The role
The role is for the Cloud Delivery Manager who has a solid background in Delivery of Cloud Technologies.

The Cloud Delivery Manager that will play a key role in driving the development and delivery, balancing commercial, financial and operational considerations, to maximize the impact and value delivered by our Cloud Managed Team.

What you'll need to succeed

The Cloud Delivery Manager will have service management responsibility for the cloud managed service team, whose function is to provide service-related input, review and disposition of service change requests, and resolve service-related issues.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that these functions understand and fulfil their roles as major stakeholders in the development and delivery of products, ensuring that a joined-up approach is taken requirements.


Role and responsibilities

  • Develop strategies for individual cloud service delivery, working with operations and service delivery teams to ensure that the right products developed, they are capable of high quality delivery
  • Develop cloud service definitions that enables both the operations team and the service provider to know what they can and cannot expect from a service
  • Take ownership of the cloud services service level agreements between a cloud service provider and the operations team which details the parameters of the cloud services to be provide
  • Take ownership of and deliver operational level agreements (OLA) with departments internal to the service provider detailing the provision of certain elements of a service.
  • Work with international partners to ensure alignment of cloud services and to derive a pipeline of cloud services through this route
  • Develop the cloud service catalogue that is published on the IWG web as part of the cloud services web site.
  • Development functions to establish and agree development priorities and development work.
  • Finance function to carry out financial planning for the product to include budgeting and pricing; and to establish and agree financial, business and pricing models for products within the charitable framework and ensuring state aid and procurement compliance.
  • Work with stakeholders across the company ensure that:
  • Cloud services are developed in line with the IWG cloud services strategy.
  • Contracts required to provide cloud service are properly procured and managed.
  • Services include relevant training for customers to ensure benefit and usage for cloud services.
  • Cloud services comply with regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Communicate, influence and work with stakeholders and executives both inside and outside of IWG to ensure the broadest understanding and contribution to the IWG cloud services strategy
  • Produce suitable business cases through appropriate processes and coordinate cost/activity sign offs
  • Act as goto point for cloud services and advise various internal, partner and teams on IWG cloud services

Qualifications /Skills / Experience

  • Three years related experience in service management
  • Experience of managing, defining and delivering clearly defined services that enable customers/teams to understand service offerings, including what each service does and does not include, eligibility, service limitations, cost, how to request services, and how to get help.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering services that meet the business need and are delivered in accordance with agreed business requirements, and managing the service lifecycle
  • Understanding of the unique requirements for enterprise and commercial customer use of private cloud, hybrid cloud, and public cloud
  • Understanding of compute, storage, and data centre technologies and emerging trends in cloud computing and storage.
