Amyris International is seeking a Marketing & PR Executive to partner with the Commercial & Marketing Teams, working closely with our retailers and supporting consumer brands' growth across Europe.


The role will focus on supporting the Europe Marketing Director with new distribution, joint business plans PR, events, and influencer strategy to support the growth of new and existing products launches.

The Amyris portfolio includes JVN, Biossance and Rose Inc.


This is a great opportunity for an experienced Marketing & PR Executive to embed themselves within a collaborative and innovative team, and to witness the impact of their work in the success of the company.

The NAE will be working closely with the Marketing Director the Europe PR agency's and retailers, as well as multidisciplinary teams in our London Office, remotely from Portugal.


The individual success will be measured on the ability to deliver the assigned tasks with quality and in a timely manner.

Speed and pro-activity combined with attention to detail and ability to work in a fast pace environment would be key to succeed in this role.


Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate all marketing calendars
  • Follow up project management tracking tools with all relevant info for events activations and key lunches
  • Send monthly all marketing and PR clipping reports per brand per market
  • Monitor retailers' activity and competitors' initiatives in the different markets across Europe
  • Be able to effectively communicate to the Commercial Director on market challenges and opportunities
  • Be a brand representative on PR events and activations when needed
  • Implement Visual merchandising guidelines in store and events
  • Keep track of all expenses and report back on P&L
  • Support new product launches through creating new line forms and maintaining stock availability
  • Organize all GWP activations, including shipping's and ensembles when needed
  • POPup and event organizations
  • Provide general administrative support to the Marketing Director
  • Liaise with external PR agencies to receive reports and interpret data
  • Manage a variety of projects in adherence to strict deadlines
  • Organize and follow up all product seedings to Editors & influencers

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors' Degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, design, business studies or similar
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in Beauty and with retailers (International is a plus)
  • Excellent technical skills in Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Power Point. Designer skills are a plus.
  • Highly analytical, with attention to detail and with the ability visualization of digital layouts on the field
  • Previous experience as a Marketing Executive / PR intern
  • Well organized: a good communicator with a strong sense of drive and purpose
  • Fast learner, proactive and autonomous
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, pressure and work with multidisciplinary and international teams
  • Experience with fast pace working environments
