We are seeking a full-time, permanent DwP Program Coordinator to be an integral part of our team.

This position can be based at our headquarters in Brussels, Belgium or GeSI offices in Lisbon, Portugal or the US.

There will be a six-month trial period and an attractive salary package commensurate with the selected candidates experience.
This role will report to the DwP Senior Director.

The primary job responsibilities for the DWP Program Coordinator includes the following: · Support DwP annual and regional events with session planning, speaker engagement, logistics, execution and follow-up work.

· Maintain close communication and regular reporting with DWP stakeholders.

  • Manage new DwP member onboarding including access to the DwP framework.
  • Organize contacts, content and collateral within Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • Work with the GeSI and DWP leadership in building and maintaining media relations and drafting press releases.
  • Monitor media publications for member and industry news, sharing consolidated insights to leadership.
  • Assist with DwP. membership and activity program inquiries.
  • Manage stakeholder database and Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Manage member meetings including scheduling, presenting, and managing the agendas and action items.
  • Presenting GeSI and DwP overviews to clients with the aim of growing membership.
  • Support management of operational expenses and monthly financial reporting.
  • Manage office logistics, IT (hardware and software), communications and other tasks as necessary to ensure the DwP Secretariat runs smoothly. Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications and professional profile.
  • Completion of an undergraduate degree at an accredited institution.
  • Minimum two years of professional experience in program management, project administration or communications.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Comfortable operating across various digital platforms, from databases to social media.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of and passion for sustainability issues, climate change and the information and communication technology (ICT) industry is highly desirable.
  • Team-oriented self-starter with excellent organizational skills, with ability to work independently and take ownership of and manage a range of tasks and activities at the same time.
  • Intermediate/advanced knowledge of website management with ability to administer and manage minor IT issues.
  • Language skills in Portuguese are desired but not required.
