Team Overview:

The Financial Permanent Control (FPC) team serves as a second line of defense (LOD2) for Finance activities and is directly linked to Natixis CFO. The team's mission is to ensure the consistency and reliability of financial information through robust control frameworks, such as BCBS 239.

FPC carries out controls on financial data generated by other Finance Department teams. It is made up of three teams:

  • Accounting and Tax;
  • Regulatory and Prudential;
  • Supervision and Control Framework.

As a Senior member of the Regulatory & Prudential team, you will be part of a cohesive team based in Porto that is seamlessly integrated into the Head Office team.

Main Responsibilities:

Working within the Finance Department, you will collaborate with the 1st and 2nd level control teams in Paris and Porto, evaluating Natixis' control framework across different areas including:

  • Quarterly reports on Solvency, Liquidity, and accounting matters (COREP, FINREP);
  • Additional requirements under Pillar II (ICAAP) and Pillar III (Market discipline and transparency) Basel directives;
  • Compliance with National Competent Authority (ACPR) regulations, particularly statistical reporting (RUBA, Reporting Unifié des Banques et Assimilés).

As a Senior team member, you will be responsible for handling complex tasks and supervising junior team members. Moreover, you will be expected to contribute to enhancing the control framework by automating processes.

Keeping the team leader informed of any concerns and monitoring the overall team progress will be crucial responsibilities. You will also engage frequently with colleagues in Paris.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Accounting, Audit or equivalent with expertise in bank accounting;
  • Minimum 3 years of Audit experience;
  • Advanced knowledge in Banking/prudential regulation, Accounting, Control environment, and Data management;
  • Familiarity with IFRS9;
  • Proficiency in English (mandatory) and French (desirable);
  • Experience with Power BI and MS Office.

Additional Details:

The role may involve travel to Paris for training and meetings with colleagues. Successful performance in this role will require close collaboration with other departmental teams.
