This junior role involves supporting the valuation team by assisting in the valuation of illiquid assets. The Valuation Officer will work with private equity, real estate, private debt, infrastructure, and fund of funds strategies, ensuring accurate and fair valuations, and contributing to the overall valuation process.

Description

  • Assist in the valuation of illiquid assets, including private equity, real estate, private debt, infrastructure, and fund of funds strategies;
  • Support the development and maintenance of valuation models and methodologies;
  • Collaborate with the valuation team to ensure consistency and accuracy in valuations;
  • Prepare valuation reports and documentation for the Committee and external stakeholders;
  • Conduct market research and gather relevant data to support valuation assumptions and methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and monitor & improve the implementation of Procedures and Controls related to valuations.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field;
  • Availability for international training;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Basic understanding of valuation techniques and financial modelling;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills;
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
