Based in one of our major European locations (Denmark, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, UK), you will work across functions and closely with Executive Management to highlight opportunities to increase the company's efficiency and profitability.


You will drive cross-functional process efficiencies and value-added enhancements by managing various financial, operational and systems-driven projects and drive reporting, analysis, planning and forecasting.


As an expert in financial modelling and analytical tools, in this role, you will build complex analyses and business simulations and present them in an insightful and visual way which will facilitate decision making by the Senior Management of the Group.


Having experience of working cross functionally and with individuals coming from different backgrounds, you will be a trusted partner across the organization.

Operationally savvy, you will influence business leaders to make informed decisions which create value.


Your day at Ferring- You will support strategic and operational decision making with timely and proactive analyses, assessments of variances to the plans, financial impacts and risks, frequently developing scenarios and stress testing options taking into consideration the risk / reward profiles- You will help the company to drive value creation by supporting and challenging business leaders in an active, transparent and constructive manner as well as developing a library of tools and presentations to enable financially based decision support- Working with the Group FP&A team, you will identify areas of improvement in the business and organization and propose implementation plans for changes recommended- You will lead group budget/forecast/business plan processes.

- Working collaboratively, you will develop strong relationships with other finance pillars as well as other functions - gathering inputs and jointly ensuring financial control- You will take the opportunity to benchmark Ferring performance against key competitors, bring in external insight to performance appraisal- You will manage global finance projects to leverage technical and cross-functional resources, and proactively monitor project risks, issues, and scope, ensuring the appropriate level of priority, visibility and escalation- Based on your expertise you will support, improve and implement new financial planning tools to ensure timely and accurate financial planning and reporting across the Group

Behind our innovation There's you- Bachelor's Degree and an accountancy qualification or a University Master's Degree with a major in Finance or Economics required, CPA certification/MBA desirable but not essential- 10 years' experience in Finance (audit in Big 4, controlling and/or consolidation) and sound experience in multinational environments- An analytical mindset and a self-starter, being able to see opportunities, solve problems independently and support the evolving needs and structure- Strong experience in Financial Modelling / analytical tools- Strong communication capabilities both in writing and orally including fluency in English- Knowledge of Anaplan, SAP, COGNOS Controller and BI is an advantage- Solid understanding of financial and accounting principles (IFRS) and processes- Track record of working independently with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders and delivering goals across the matrix structure- Ability to work in decentralized finance structure- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage- Excellent commercial acumen
