The Role:

TejoMed offers innovative medical care, focusing on disease prevention and reversion.

We combine the use of technology with the latest advances in preventive and functional medicine, offering a unique service in Portugal.


  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in any specialty, preferably in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Experience in monitoring patients on an outpatient basis. Focus on building lasting relationships.
  • Understanding the doctorpatient relationship as a partnership. Absolute availability to listen and understand the patient, seeking to develop personalized and realistic therapeutic strategies.
  • Interest in preventive medicine, lifestyle medicine, or functional medicine. The doctor's goal should be to help the patient regain balance in their physiology, rather than simply suppressing symptoms.
  • Focus on continuous education. Availability to learn and implement the therapeutic guidelines used at TejoMed, based on the most current scientific evidence. Training and support will be provided by the medical director
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Must possess a valid medical license to practice in Portugal.

  • Experiência em acompanhamento de pacientes em regime ambulatório. Foco na construção de relações duradouras.
  • Entendimento da relação médicopaciente como uma parceria. Disponibilidade absoluta para ouvir e entender o paciente, procurando desenvolver estratégias terapêuticas personalizadas e realistas.
  • Interesse por medicina preventiva, medicina do estilo de vida e medicina funcional. O objectivo, enquanto médico, deve ser ajudar o paciente a reencontrar o equilíbrio da sua fisiologia, ao invés da mera supressão de sintomas.
