Job Description
The Position
The Associate Specialist will collaborate with a team of approximately 40 professional StS colleagues in the Center handling end-to-end StS processes, with a primary focus on payment activities.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure service delivery aligns with agreed-upon Service Levels, Controls, and Governance.
- Help manage process risks by following policies and internal controls, adhering to StS guidelines, and ensuring timely execution of process and SOX controls.
- Maintain accurate standard operating procedures and internal control documentation.
- Coordinate with auditors to facilitate successful audit outcomes and compliance with relevant standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define objectives and drive process improvements.
- Provide top-notch service to vendors, employees, and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain relationships through collaboration and negotiation.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Up to 1 year of experience in StS processes.
- Proficiency in English and another European Language, preferably Portuguese.
- Experience in regional or global team environments.
- Attention to detail, meeting deadlines consistently, and producing accurate deliverables.
- Proficiency in SAP R/3 with exposure to SAP S/4 HANA.
- Ability to work independently, under pressure, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Team-oriented with exceptional customer service and collaboration skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
- Effective communication and proactive approach.
- Ability to drive efficiencies through standardization and compliance.
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills
- Familiarity with US GAAP is a plus.
- Experience in shared services, regional roles, and global initiatives is desirable.
