In a nutshell:


We are looking for an Accounting & Finance Specialist, who is well-versed in accounting practices and passionate about driving financial accuracy and transparency.

In this role, you'll work closely with our Finance Manager and external partners to ensure accuracy and compliance of our books and help with the smooth running of the day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.


Your Responsibilities:
Coordinate the monthly financial closing, uploading all relevant documentation and ensuring our accounting partners fulfill all reporting requirements;
Perform month-end account reconciliations, including accounts payable/receivable, bank statements and balance sheet accounts;
Manage Accounts Receivable, streamlining billing and collection processes and leading debt collection efforts;
Manage Accounts Payable, processing invoices and staff expenses, prepare payments, dealing with suppliers queries;
Control the RFI status of foreign suppliers;
Provide insights for data-driven decision-making and assist with reporting;
Work closely with the Finance Manager and provide support when needed.

What's your ideal background?

Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics / Business
2+ years of relevant experience
Strong appetite for tech, ideally has been part of a startup or scale up team
Proactive, "get things done" attitude
Ability to work independently and within a team
Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English
