Job Description:
The Pipeline Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for managing a subcontractor or direct resources of one single mechanical phase, under the responsibility of the Pipeline Mechanical Superintendent.
The Pipeline Mechanical Supervisor is primarily responsible for the supervision of one single mechanical work phase according to the drawings and specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure to complies with all Company Policies, Procedures and Regulations in terms of Health, Safety, Environment, Security and Quality.
- Provides leadership to cause the creation of organization to ensure the work execution in compliance to the Quality and project specification.
- Coordination of all the activity starting from the project material receiving up to the completion of one single mechanical work phase (stringing, bending, welding, coating, lowering in, tieins, hydrotests, stations mechanical).
- Organize and coordinate the activities of the foreman up to the helpers (subcontractors or in direct hiring) of one single mechanical work phase.
- Reporting utilizing the applicable forms all the activities to the Pipeline Mechanical Superintendent in terms of progress, manpower, equipment's status.
- Define, on time, in collaboration with the Pipeline Mechanical Superintendent, the needs in terms of quantity and quality of resources (personnel, equipment and materials) on site.
Duties and Responsibilities Details:
- Interface with HSE department which shall verify that the personnel is certified for their specific tasks and all related certification FTW and training required to enter on site are adequate.
- Assure the daily coordination of the construction team (from foreman to helper) according to HSE Company (and Clients) requirements and the quality assurance procedures.
- Ensuring that both the health and safety project plans are apply on site.
- Apply the waste management procedure collaborating with the HSE department.
- Apply the stop work policy toward each project phase for activities under his responsibility or not.
- Ensure that equipment and tools to execute the project activities are complying to the project activities in terms of quantities and quality.
- Use of human, material, and equipment resources on the construction site, establishing the daily schedule of the activities with the Foreman to maximize productivity
- Verify, on time, with the collaboration of the HSE department the permit to work.
- Organizing all workers (subcontractor or direct manpower) to perform the activities as required in accordance with project drawings and procedures.
- Ensure that each part of construction team (up to the helper) is capable of performing their allotted scope of work.
- Receive and apply from the Pipeline Mechanical Superintendent the vendor/project documentations and verify:
o Quality/Quantity of the consumable material.
o Quality/Quantity of the project material.
- Collaborate with the Material Controller and Qa/Qc dept. for the inspection and test activities (if any).
- Manage the transportation on site or workshop/s of the project material and monitor the Hand-Over to the foreman (subcontractors or in direct hiring).
- Supervise the integrity and maintenance of equipment under the using of direct manpower or subcontractor.
- Prepare welders qualification activities and the necessary tools/material and collaborate with Qa/Qc department for certifications and documentation required.
- Manage daybyday operational aspects of the activities according to the sequence and priority.
- Prepare the report (Manhour spent, equipment and tools) required by the Pipeline Mechanical Superintendent for the contract project activity and for any extra work required by Company.
- Collaborate with the other supervisors to organize the activity to avoid interference that creates dead times.
- Collaborate with the Pipeline Mechanical Superintendent during all project phase, to identify and solve any interference detected on site.
- Collaborate with the QA/QC department and ensure the certification of the activity executed during all project phases.
- Supervision of punch list items for their closure.
- Collaborate with the commissioning team during the Precommissioning/Commissioning activity and assist during test.
- Inform Pipeline Mechanical Superintendent of the progress of the work with indication of the availability and efficiency of resources reporting any additional needs.
- Collaborate with Pipeline Mechanical Superintendent to develops short term look ahead schedules.
Work Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of practical experience in pipeline construction
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, planning and organizing ability, critical thinking and problemsolving skills, adaptability and stress tolerance
- Must be a Team Member, Leader and a Team player with leadership, motivation, and technical skills

Education Requirements:
- Middle school diploma
Work Conditions:

Other Specific Requirements:
- Ability to read a properly interpret construction drawings.
- Computer knowledges Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
