We are looking for:

  • Someone to provide support to the Operational Logistics and Costing Specialist, specifically to understand fully SAP in relation to logistics processing, and related tasks, in both a financial and operational performance sense; and who supports the sharing of best practice and continual efficiency gains

We count on you for:

  • To support the logistics costing process, providing support to the operational execution individuals throughout NAM (primarily Distribution Co-ordinators & Logistics Leads), and ensures compliance to processes (pricing updates by SBS, extra cost processing etc).This role also supports analysis of freight spend as required. This role also supports carrier & warehousing operations tasks - disposal / SMOG / inventory management/ haulier evaluations. This role supports the implementation and execution of complex logistics flows and associated tasks:
  • Costs - Ensuring correct mechanisms are in place to pay for logistics services (TMS / Shipment costs / blanket POs), monitoring spend against these as needed. Tackling shipment cost at 0 in conjunction with GBS, and treating errors of cost processing / payment. Support the preparation of logistics tenders & managing the freight quotation process (either directly or training on self-use tools)
  • Stock Control - Support warehouse operations and monitoring tasks - stock reconciliations, cycle counting, stocktake compliance, arrival damage reporting and resolution, SMOG.
  • Carrier Reviews - prepare data to enable the Logistics function to drive supplier service delivery. Support the QN coordination for carriers (often raised / led by Logistics Tea and others).
  • NAM Zone - be the point person for the NAM Operational team with issues related to payments / TMS issues etc

  • SAP knowledge, especially in logistics & shipment costs is a plus
  • TMS experience a plus

  • Capacity to collaborate and work within a team
  • Project Team Experience
  • Microsoft Excel / Google Suite
