In a nutshell:


As an Accounting Manager at Rauva, you will play a pivotal role in building and leading a team dedicated to providing top-tier accounting services and fiscal advisory to a diverse external clientele.

You will oversee the enhancement and maintenance of operational processes to ensure smooth day-to-day functionality, while simultaneously driving innovation and efficiency within our expanding accounting division.

The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of accounting and fiscal principles, demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, and exhibit a deep commitment to the customer journey and experience.


Your Responsibilities:
Handle inquiries and requests from our premium users and advise them on accounting, fiscal, social and payroll elements effectively;
Proactively stay on top of accounts, making sure that the customers complete necessary milestones to stay financially compliant.
Prepare and analyse the management support information (report)
Develop procedures for monthly / annual closings; plan and coordinate the general accounting execution
Be highly client-facing, and provide regular fiscal consulting to customers
Build an accounting team

Your ideal background:
Accountant with 7+ years of experience in accounting for small & medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), including 4+ years in accounting companies
Higher School Degree in Accounting or Taxes
Strong knowledge of Portuguese accounting standards and IFRS
Appetite to work in tech / startups, with a "tech mindset" and willingness to learn innovative accounting tools
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, ability to provide excellent customer experience to users
Team leading abilities, including task delegation, people management, and capacity to train Junior Accountants
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Fluency in English (C1 or higher) and Portuguese is a requirement
Based in Lisbon, Portugal
