AI Engineer (Tools, Integrations & Deployment) Department: Data & AI Location: Lisbon (Hybrid) About the Role We are seeking an AI Engineer to design, build, integrate and deploy AI solutions and GenAI agents into Bank applications and internal systems. This role focuses on technical development and implementation, working closely with the Portuguese and Spanish AI teams. Key Responsibilities Develop AI tools, components and integrations with internal applications Build API-based interfaces for LLMs, predictive models and GenAI agents Support data pipelines, model execution and automation frameworks Ensure security, data governance and compliance of AI solutions Optimize performance, reliability and scalability of AI agents Contribute to innovation and technical roadmap of the AI CoE Required Skills & Experience Experience as AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer or Software Engineer with AI exposure Knowledge of model integration, APIs, Python and/or other AI/ML languages Familiarity with LLMs, vector databases, embeddings, RAG, and cloud deployments Understanding of risk, predictive modeling or banking processes is a plus Spanish preferred; English relevant for documentation and architecture alignment Profile Technically strong and proactive Curious, autonomous and comfortable in a fast-evolving environment Team player with interest in innovation and applied AI
