About the Role: The Solutions Architect team at SecurityScorecard acts as a trusted cybersecurity advisor and strategic partner to both our clients and internal teams. We offer deep knowledge of the market and our solutions, driven by intellectual curiosity, a strong motivation to deliver customer value, and a genuine passion for cybersecurity. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Solutions Architect to collaborate with our U.S. sales teams. This role involves technical engagement during the pre-sales phase with clients, including platform demonstrations, answering technical and business questions, and advising on industry best practices as clients evaluate SecurityScorecard. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in areas such as cybersecurity, information security, third-party risk management (TPRM/VRM), supply chain risk, technology risk, IT compliance, organizational resilience, privacy, and more. Success in this role requires strong technical and cybersecurity expertise, with the ability to develop a deep understanding of SecurityScorecard’s architecture and services. A consultative approach is essential, with a focus on understanding the client’s business needs. Strategic communication skills are critical to participate in both technical and business conversations with engineers and senior decision-makers—translating client needs into technical requirements and clearly demonstrating the value of our solutions throughout the process. Key Responsibilities: Partner with sales teams to understand customer technical requirements, design tailored solutions, and support revenue growth and customer success Lead technical pre-sales efforts by delivering platform demos, managing Proof of Value (PoV) engagements, and representing SecurityScorecard at industry events and executive roundtables Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to provide field feedback and help shape the product roadmap Capture and report success metrics from PoVs Apply MEDDIC methodology to support effective sales cycles Develop subject matter expertise in supply chain cybersecurity Foster collaboration across diverse work styles and personalities Build strong internal relationships with teams such as Marketing, Support, and Customer Success Act as a strong internal advocate for prospective customers Requirements and Qualifications: Fluency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish is required 1+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales, or Technical Account Manager) with a background in cybersecurity, OR possession of cybersecurity-related certifications. Excellent communication skills with both technical and business audiences Experience in pre-sales, consulting, or other customer-facing technical roles (SaaS preferred) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CISA, GCIH, etc.) are a plus Familiarity with risk and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, SIG) is a plus Comfortable working the relevant hours to support clients in Brazil and Iberia Specific to each country, we offer a competitive salary, stock options, Health benefits, and unlimited PTO, parental leave, tuition reimbursements, and much more SecurityScorecard is committed to Equal Employment Opportunity and embraces diversity.
