Its Porto hub plays a strategic role as a nearshore technology and operations center, delivering IT solutions, application support, and technical expertise to support the group’s central entities.To support this mission, we are recruiting Application System Engineers.Your ResponsibilitiesAs an Application System Engineer, you will:Manage and resolve production incidents.Coordinate technical operations and application changes.Participate in application and infrastructure change management.Draft and maintain up-to-date technical documentation.Monitor system and application performance.Manage and optimize backups.Contribute to process automation.Work closely with development teams to design new application architectures aligned with infrastructure standards.Key Skills & ExperienceThe ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, operational rigor, and excellent communication skills, including:At least 6 years of experience in a similar role.Solid knowledge of both Linux and Windows environments.Experience with an industrial scheduler (BMC/Control-M or equivalent).Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Python, and/or PowerShell).Understanding of database concepts.Experience with infrastructure backups.Familiarity with monitoring tools.Knowledge of LDAP, Firewall, Reverse Proxy, Active Directory, and Kerberos.Strong networking knowledge.Why Join Us?We are looking for someone who shares the spirit and DNA of eXalt-Fi ☀️, eager to take on a new challenge and join us in this international adventure 🌍.On a personal level, you identify with the following traits: visionary, curious, inspiring, persistent, empathetic, multitasking, and positive.👉 If you feel both eXalted and eXalting, we’d love to meet you
