We are more than 500 consultants with offices in Lisbon, Porto and Madrid. DECSKILL operates in 3 main areas: DECSKILL TALENT , through which we provide our clients with an extension to their IT teams; DECSKILL BOOST , through which we provide our client with software development models to increase capacity and optimize Time-to-Market, where we create and manage teams that deliver according to their needs, at the desired speed; DECSKILL CONNECT, through which we provide our client with consulting services, as well as the implementation and management of information technology infrastructures. Our practice results in the creation of value for our customers, either by delivering qualified and value-added services, or through highly qualified and motivated professionals, as well as technology solutions that allow us to operate and transform the business of our customers. We are looking for an JAVA Backend Developer Responsibilities : Develop and maintain backend services: Design, implement and maintain scalable and efficient backend features using Java Code quality and testing. Write clean and maintainable code. Ensure code performance, scalability and reliability respecting the agreed best practices. Implement unit, integration and performance testing. Collaboration and Agile development: Work closely with frontend devs, business analysts and testers Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies. API and Services development and integration Design and develop API's. Design and develop (micro)services using Java Spring frameworks. Database Management Write/maintain efficient queries. Migration from database procedures to Java code. Requirements : JAVA programming and frameworks (Java 8+, Spring, …). Testing (Junit, Testcontainers, Mockito, …) and code quality (SonarQube, …). Versions control and agile development (Git, GitLab, Agile/Scrum, …).. Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible, …). API Development (RESTFul APIs, Swagger, …). Problem solving and critical thinking. Communication and collaboration. Adaptability and Continuous Learning. Time Management and Organization. Proactive and flexible approach.
