We are seeking a General Manager who will lead the company’s overall performance by: Setting quarterly revenue targets Defining strategic roadmaps Ensuring all departments operate efficiently and deliver high-quality results Our platform offers four key values to users: Agency Rankings: Brands can view qualified agencies based on their expertise, location, clients, and various other factors. Awards: Agencies and brands can enter their finest work and compete for the best web logo, app, print, packaging, and video design awards. Marketplace: Businesses can post their projects at no cost and receive proposals from verified agencies. Trending Brands: Agencies and brands can feature their expertise and achievements via news, interviews, and trends articles to get noticed and recognized as an industry leader. We are looking for a General Manager with expertise in running a company as a leader to ensure: All departments are hitting milestones and are profitable Work across departments is done efficiently and according to standard processes and checklists All departments are delivering high-quality outcomes and meeting their goals We offer GROWTH, job stability, and a work culture that enables our teammates to excel in their careers. This is for a full-time, remote-work-at-home position. DesignRush is seeking to make IMMEDIATE hires. Responsibilities Own revenue, performance, and profitability across all DesignRush revenue streams, including: Agency Directory sponsorships, Marketplace subscriptions & bidding, Awards submissions, Awareness and exposure packages Hands-on in managing development, marketing, content, design, SEO, sales, and operations to ensure work is performed at the highest standards and timelines are met. Own the product roadmap, prioritize development with the team, and ensure timely delivery of site improvements that drive growth and retention. Improve operational efficiency and enforce processes, best practices, and accountability: checklists, workflows, briefs, QA, releases, and inter-department alignment. Monitor key metrics and take corrective action: revenue, churn, client satisfaction, traffic, retention, engagement. Drive innovation in the AI search ecosystem, ensuring DesignRush maintains visibility. Execute company-wide improvements and support C-level strategic initiatives to drive growth and work excellence. Requirements Proven experience in running successful venture(s) with 5+ years of experience in a leadership role Proven track record of growing DIGITAL B2B businesses, improving revenue and increasing profitability Proven track record of improving operational efficiency, team performance, and leading cross-departmental initiatives. Deep understanding of digital products, development workflows, UX, QA, SEO and marketplace dynamics. Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to enforce standards and elevate quality across teams. Available to work EST hours (6 AM to 3 PM) with flexibility for calls with the CEO until 5 PM EST. Skill Set Strong leadership and ability to turn executive decisions into clear, actionable guidance for teams. High organizational discipline and ability to manage multiple priorities, enforcing processes, and maintaining the structure. Sales awareness and growth-focused, able to support upselling and client relationship growth. Excellent communicator capable of aligning heads of departments, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth cross-department collaboration. Proactive problem solver with the ability to prevent issues, optimize workflows, and maintain high delivery quality.
