We’re an MIT-founded sourcing marketplace transforming how brands discover and work with global suppliers. Our platform automates sourcing workflows using Python, Temporal, and deeply integrated Shopify Apps , powered by AI-native development tools like Cursor. We’re looking for a full-stack developer  who can own backend services, workflow automation, and — especially — Shopify app development at the core of our platform . Tech Stack Python (FastAPI) •  Temporal.io  • Postgres • TypeScript • Next.js • Shopify Apps (Custom App Framework) • GraphQL AI-accelerated engineering culture using Cursor, Copilot, ChatGPT/Claude, Replit Agent What You’ll Work On Build and maintain high-impact Shopify Apps  (Admin API, Storefront API, OAuth, Webhooks, embedded app UI) — a critical pillar of our product Develop backend services with FastAPI + Postgres Design and run Temporal workflows  for sourcing, quoting, and supplier automation Build new marketplace features with TypeScript + React/Next.js Integrate third-party APIs, Shopify data flows, and automated pipelines Use AI tools (Cursor, etc.) to ship faster with high code quality Collaborate directly with founders on architecture, dev tooling, and product direction  What We’re Looking For Strong Python (FastAPI)  skills Deep experience building custom Shopify Apps Solid TypeScript + React/Next.js  ability Hands-on with Postgres  schema design & optimization Familiar with Temporal , or eager to learn quickly Comfortable in a fast, AI-assisted startup engineering environment  Nice to Have Marketplace or eCommerce experience Experience with LLM integration, vector search, or embeddings Logistics, sourcing, or supply chain familiarity Why Join Us MIT-founded team High-impact, high-ownership engineering role AI-native development culture (Cursor-first workflow) Build foundational infrastructure for a global sourcing platform
