Job Title: Cybersecurity and Networks Coordinator

Location: Hybrid in Lisbon

Position Summary: We are looking for a Cybersecurity and Networks Coordinator to maintain, update, and manage our cybersecurity infrastructure. The ideal candidate must be capable of quickly diagnosing and resolving any issues that may arise, taking responsibility for keeping the entire infrastructure updated and documented, and acquiring extensive knowledge of the television business to use daily insights to identify areas for improvement. The objective will be to ensure that security processes and systems across all aspects of Broadcast and IT operate efficiently, stay up-to-date, and function without incidents or service interruptions. The candidate will also play an active and significant role in the evolution and continuous improvement of company broadcast and IT systems. It will be necessary to interact with internal and external teams as well as end-users, requiring good communication skills and other soft skills inherent to the coordination role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take proactive responsibility for all aspects of security culture and security awareness across all areas, continuously ensuring the relevance of security policies and risk management strategies.
  • Coordinate company internal IT support team for cybersecurity, as well as external vendors in the field.
  • Investigate suspected and confirmed security incidents, produce reports with recommendations, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Promote internally and with other company teams the adoption of cybersecurity change and improvement processes.
  • Design, implement, and maintain policies, processes, and procedures aligned with frameworks such as ISO 27001.
  • Implement standards and procedures to ensure compliance with information security requirements.
  • Report to management on KPIs related to the effectiveness of procedures and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure coordination between the Broadcast and IT departments, meeting objectives and deadlines.
  • Oversee the implementation of company projects to ensure security is considered during the evaluation, selection, installation, and configuration of hardware, applications, and software.
  • Keep cybersecurity systems updated in terms of both software and hardware.
  • Monitor performance and maintain service levels.
  • Resolve and prevent incidents, problems, and service interruptions.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with the logging and processing of incidents and service requests.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in Administration of Firewalls, Endpoints, Domains, and Active Directory.
  • Control and documentation of existing policies.
  • Practical skills in effectively implementing policies.
  • Knowledge of security standards and frameworks, e.g., ISO 27001.
  • Understanding of data protection principles.
  • Excellent written and spoken English proficiency.
  • Knowledge of ITSM systems.
  • Critical thinking and dynamism.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to listen and follow precise instructions when working with critical systems.
  • Autonomy and discipline.
  • Communication skills to effectively articulate security topics at all levels of the organization.
