Job Description Summary:For our Innovation and Digital Transformation Team we are looking for a BI & Analytics Specialist. The selected candidate will develop comprehensive, visually compelling dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making across business functions. This role collaborates with the Innovation and Digital Transformation Team, with business stakeholders and with third-party partners to deliver insights using reporting tools such as Power BI and analytics tools, either available or bespoke and developed in-house.
Job Description:Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the business to understand their reporting needs, translating it into actionable data-based and data-driven solutions, products and use cases.
- Develop business intelligence and advanced analytics solutions to problems across the business, to deliver value, increase efficiency and enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Design intuitive dashboards, reports, visualizations and visual user interface applications that provide valuable insights aligned with business objectives.
- Improve front-end reporting solutions to ensure dashboards and reports are visually engaging and functional.
- Troubleshoot UX/UI issues to enhance the user experience and interaction.
- Manage ETL and data management of the reporting across the company to ensure reporting solutions are accurate, reliable, and kept up to date regarding any change the business would require.
- Design and implement the core reporting of the company, in line with the overall data infrastructure and platforms.
Technical skills
- Expertise in the use of data analytics and visualization software such as Power BI, Tableau, Streamlit and Grafana, or similar.
- Hands-on expertise in business communication tools.
- Proficiency in Python programming for data analytics and visualization (or R, or equivalent language).
- Proficiency in database querying languages such as SQL and equivalent.
Business skills
- Strong business acumen with an ability to translate complex data sets into actionable insights for business stakeholders.
- Experience working directly with business users to assess their needs and propose solutions that align with business strategies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Objectives driven, team spirit, autonomy, initiative and ownership.
Education and Qualifications
- MSC's degree in a STEM field or related discipline.
- Strong expertise in data visualization, design principles, and front-end development.
- 5 years of experience in data-related roles, such as analytics, reporting and engineering, with demonstrated hands-on proficiency in relevant tools.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven, impactful, reporting solutions.
Travel requirements and working place
- Position to be considered across geographies in which Nadara has offices.
- Hybrid working regime (office and work from home).
- Travelling occasionally required.
