Where and how we work?

We are growing our team across Malta, Lisbon (PT), Sofia (BG), London (UK), and Bucharest (RO) and are looking for talented professionals to join us We embrace a hybrid work model, with an expectation for you to attend the office at least twice a week to connect, innovate, and grow together while also having the flexibility to work remotely.

Long story short, you will

be providing legal advice on contractual issues and assist in negotiating commercial deals, drafting legal documentation and ensuring fit-for-purpose, risk-adjusted contracts and templates to support all key relationships. As a Legal Counsel, your primary responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of contracts. We are looking for a 'hands-on' lawyer who is energetic and personally engaged in the delivery of advice to different stakeholders and colleagues across the business. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Legal.

All the responsibilities we will trust you with:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including B2B reseller, game provider, PSP, marketing, affiliation, employment, and supplier agreements.
  • Provide legal guidance on corporate and commercial matters, ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Manage corporate structuring, governance, and financing transactions, including drafting agreements and board resolutions.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring, conducting due diligence and drafting transaction documents.
  • Oversee corporate housekeeping, including company incorporation, filings, and governance.
  • Liaise with external legal advisors, regulatory authorities, and consultants.
  • Monitor and interpret regulatory developments, advising the business on compliance risks.
  • Assist with risk management, dispute resolution, and contract monitoring.
  • Keep up with legal trends in multiple industries and jurisdictions.
  • Handle diverse legal matters, including property, employment, data protection, IP, and marketing regulations.
  • Prepare reports for the Head of Legal.
  • Occasional travel to overseas offices as required.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
  • Min. 5 years experience as a Legal Counsel; including at least 3 years' experience in the iGaming industry or a related regulated industry.
  • Experience with agreement drafting, review and negotiation.
  • Experience with regulatory updates and research.
  • Advanced level of spoken and written English - proficiency in Portuguese and/or Spanish considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in using Jira, Google Suite and MS applications.
  • Proactive, having attention to detail.
  • Business-oriented and having a systematic, cooperative and collaborative approach.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Core areas of expertise: commercial law; intellectual property, corporate law.
  • Additional expertise: employment law.
