OverviewDesign, Planning, and Development: Oversee the design, planning, and development of Security Architecture and administration at the enterprise level.Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in end-to-end Enterprise Security Architecture, with a proven ability to gather business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and design solutions that align with both tactical and strategic objectives.Key Role in Network Architecture: As an Enterprise Security Architect, you will be pivotal in designing robust network architectures, builds, and configurations. This role involves leading security projects, collaborating with technology peers to ensure successful delivery, and mentoring technology staff.ResponsibilitiesProven Experience: Demonstrated experience with methodologies focused on Security Architectures for developing business-driven, risk and opportunity assessments at both enterprise and solutions levels, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Information Assurance and Risk Management: Proficient in working with Information Assurance Architectures and Risk Management Frameworks, seamlessly integrating security and risk management into IT Architecture methods and frameworks.Cloud Computing Expertise: Strong understanding of cloud computing architecture, including technical design and implementation.Critical Thinking and Analytical Skills: Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and "out of the box."
Architectural Patterns and Solution Design: Experience in creating architectural patterns and solution design documents.Complex Security Solutions: Capable of designing and implementing complex security solutions.Project Leadership: Leads projects to implement secure enterprise systems, identifying and addressing issues that could compromise data integrity or security.Communication and Managerial Courage: Utilizes open communication and managerial courage to ensure organizational standards, expectations, and goals are respected and upheld.Advisory Role: Serves as an advisor to engineering and development teams on security best practices and design.Project Management: Leads security-related projects from inception to successful completion, effectively coaching technology staff on appropriate security protocols and needs as they implement new technologies.Strategic Alignment: Ensures the organization's security strategy is aligned with business goals.QualificationsExtensive Experience: Over 7 years of experience as a Security Architect.Security Expertise: In-depth knowledge of security concepts and extensive knowledge of security controls and technologies.Cloud Computing: Proven experience in cloud computing technologies.Adaptability: Ability to work effectively with a variety of personalities and adapt approaches to be effective.Network Security: Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.Container-Based Architectures: Experience with container-based architectures and implementations, such as Kubernetes and Docker.Legacy to Cloud Migration: Experience in migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud.Technical Domain Knowledge: In-depth working knowledge in areas such as data protection, threat detection, incident response, edge security, identity management, and compliance.Vendor Management: Experience in sourcing complex IT services, working closely with vendors, and leveraging their capabilities.Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain successful relationships with senior leaders from both risk and non-risk, IT and non-IT backgrounds.Project Management: Proven ability to successfully manage projects involving multi-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
