We work closely with our colleagues in the UK, Portugal, and the United States.What role will you play?As our Engineering Manager, you will join the Content Delivery Engineering team, reporting into the Global Video Engineering, an organization distributed across NBCUniversal and Sky. The role is based in Prague, Czechia and is focused on leading and building a local team of engineers providing design, operation, and delivery for our UK, EU, and Africa-based streaming products - SkyShowtime, Showmax, and Now/Wow.The role requires daily collaboration with our colleagues and vendors primarily across the US, UK, and beyond – fluent spoken and written English is a must.The Content Delivery Engineering team’s expertise is focused on the web-scale use of Content Delivery Networks, performance telemetry, analytics, selection and interfacing with content origins, dynamic ad insertion, and player technologies.
