What are we looking for? To reinforce our Technology team at the Transports Unit (Maia Site), we are looking for a Software Developer. Mission: Analyze the technical requirements of a product or project and produce technical specifications that guide software development; Design the solution and define the software architecture based on the requirements, which may include defining the overall system structure, organizing components, interfaces, and technologies to be used; Write the software code according to the defined specifications; Perform tests to verify the functionality of the software and identify potential bugs or errors; Specify and perform unit tests on the developed code; Create the builds necessary to generate the software modules; Maintain and update the software, which includes: analyzing and fixing defects; implementing improvements; updating the software according to new versions of platforms, components, or libraries; Support the testing teams in creating test data; Collaborate with the Technical Leader in constructing relevant documentation, namely: internal documentation (in the code); technical specifications; user or installation manuals; Develop solutions for Passenger Transportation System Command Centers (Railway, LRT, BRT); Participation in international projects. Profile: At least 4 years experience; Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Systems; Experience as a Programmer in the domain and technical architecture within the Product context; Familiarity with agile and waterfall methodologies in software development; Knowledge of techniques that facilitate the activities of gathering and prioritizing technical requirements; Knowledge and practical experience in defining and executing unit tests; Experience in development using the necessary programming languages: C/C++, C#, Java, Delphi, Python, Web languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript), SQL, PL/SQL (when developing for Databases); Experience in developing software using IDEs (e.g., Visual Studio, NetBeans), frameworks, and development support libraries; Must understand programming principles, algorithms, and best coding practices, such as code organization, readability, modularity, and efficiency; Experience using code review/analysis tools; Knowledge of Build & Deploy techniques; Experience in administration and development in Databases (ORACLE, PostgreSQL, MySQL); creating database scripts and using database clients (PL/SQL Developer, Oracle SQL Developer); bootstrap; Angular; Experience using repository and version control systems (Git, TFS, SVN) and implementing workflow strategies in these systems; Ability to manage and meet deadlines; Knowledge and understanding of business requirements and end-user needs.
