Our Client
Our client is a dynamic FinTech company on a mission to revolutionize the financial landscape. They are seeking a dynamic and visionary IT Infrastructure leader who can spearhead initiatives within the rapidly evolving landscape of digital payments and card issuer processing. This senior leadership position will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of IT operations, ensuring seamless, secure, and scalable systems to support their growth within the banking and fintech sectors.
Who You Are
•A seasoned IT leader with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
•A strategic thinker who can translate business goals into actionable IT initiatives.
•A hands-on leader with the ability to dive into day-to-day operations and troubleshoot complex issues.
•A team player with a collaborative approach who fosters a positive and productive work environment.
•A virtual CIO (vCIO) who can effectively communicate IT needs to the executive leadership team.
Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
•Strong entrepreneurial spirit and ability to run the team like your own business.
•Deep understanding of data center operations, including backups and disaster recovery.
•Proven experience with Oracle management and migration to Oracle Cloud.
•Strong knowledge of networking principles and infrastructure.
•Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) methodologies.
•Strong data-driven decision-making and problem-solving skills. Adept at identifying trends, risks, and opportunities related to technology investments.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What You'll Do
•Lead and manage a small team of IT professionals.
•Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
•Oversee all aspects of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and security.
•Identify and implement innovative technologies to enhance efficiency and drive growth.
•Establish and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and partners. Negotiate contracts and manage performance to ensure optimal value and service delivery.
•Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.
•Partner with the software engineering team for seamless integration and support.
•Motivate and mentor your team, fostering their professional development.
•Proactively recruit top IT talent to build a high-performing team.
•Collaborate with the executive leadership team, identifying IT needs and reporting any deficiencies.
Work Environment
•This role is based out of Europe; however, the successful candidate will be required to manage a work schedule that balances European and Canadian business hours.
