**Head of IT Infrastructure (Fintech) - Europe**

**Our Client**
Our client is a dynamic FinTech company on a mission to revolutionize the financial landscape. They are seeking a dynamic and visionary IT Infrastructure leader who can spearhead initiatives within the rapidly evolving landscape of digital payments and card issuer processing. This senior leadership position will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of IT operations, ensuring seamless, secure, and scalable systems to support their growth within the banking and fintech sectors.

**Who You Are**
- A seasoned IT leader with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
- A strategic thinker who can translate business goals into actionable IT initiatives.
- A hands-on leader with the ability to dive into day-to-day operations and troubleshoot complex issues.
- A team player with a collaborative approach who fosters a positive and productive work environment.
- A virtual CIO (vCIO) who can effectively communicate IT needs to the executive leadership team.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit and ability to run the team like your own business.
- Deep understanding of data center operations, including backups and disaster recovery.
- Proven experience with Oracle management and migration to Oracle Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of networking principles and infrastructure.
- Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) methodologies.
- Strong data-driven decision-making and problem-solving skills. Adept at identifying trends, risks, and opportunities related to technology investments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**What You’ll Do**
- Lead and manage a small team of IT professionals.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and security.
- Identify and implement innovative technologies to enhance efficiency and drive growth.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and partners. Negotiate contracts and manage performance to ensure optimal value and service delivery.
- Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Partner with the software engineering team for seamless integration and support.
- Motivate and mentor your team, fostering their professional development.
- Proactively recruit top IT talent to build a high-performing team.
- Collaborate with the executive leadership team, identifying IT needs and reporting any deficiencies.
