World domination, obviously About our Senior Product Marketing Manager The Senior Product Marketing Manager is responsible for translating complex technical details into compelling stories that resonate with our customers.
You will be in charge for driving the success of our products and solutions in the market, through a mix of activities such as conducting market research, developing marketing and branding strategies, and tailoring product messaging to different stages of the customer journey and to different buying-personas.
The role requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and technical expertise. You will work closely with leaders in different departments, including sales managers, product managers and customer/account managers. You will be reporting to the Head of Marketing. Your main responsibilities are: Drive customer facing and sales facing messaging and positioning. Run Market research to grasp the evolving needs of our customers, the trends shaping the industry, and how our competitors are moving. Craft and execute campaigns and leverage organic channels to reach our customers and help grow their understanding. Be the architect of persuasive and informative content that spans presentations, datasheets, and engaging website content. We want our sales team to feel empowered and equipped with the best tools to showcase our product offers. Develop audience-specific messaging and go-to-market materials. Communicate effectively across Sales, Product and Development teams to understand their requirements and deliver top-quality content to support new customer acquisition and existing customer retention/expansion. Collaborate with internal and external teams to create compelling marketing materials, including co-branded materials, case studies, whitepapers, videos, and presentations showcasing product value. Develop detailed campaign project plans, creative briefs, and digital strategies, including campaign goals, messaging, calls to action, segmentation strategy, adoption campaigns, marketing distribution channels, and campaign schedule. Work at both the strategic and tactical level. Define, own and execute service launch plan and content plan; execute top down and bottom-up (product-led) developer growth strategies. Define business metrics, measurement plan, and testing plan for related campaigns. Test and refine new marketing approaches and channels to reach and engage key audiences.
The key technical and soft skills required for a Senior Product Marketing Manager include: Extensive Marketing Experience: Proven success in a product marketing manager role and extensive knowledge of a company's products and services. Market Research and Analysis: Ability to conduct market research, analyse competitor behaviour, and identify market trends to inform marketing and product decisions. Strategic Thinking: Capability to develop marketing and branding strategies, identify new opportunities, and integrate emerging solutions and technological advancements in new products, Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for collaborating with various teams, strong leadership skills, and the ability to establish targeted customer and industry partnership networks. Analytical Mindset: Data-driven mindset for informing product and marketing decisions with insights into customer behaviour. Customer Focus: Ability to develop strong customer relations, understand consumer behaviour, and translate customer needs into marketing strategies. Leadership and Strategic Planning: Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive the success of products in the market through go-to-market planning and differentiated product messaging.
Requirements: 5+ years of work experience that can span marketing, product marketing, product management, operational roles, or strategy consulting. At least 3+ years specifically in marketing or go-to-market experience. Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred. Fluent in English. Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements. Experience with Excel or Tableau, and other Product Marketing Tools. Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches Experience with Product Marketing Tools focused on User Behaviour and Feedback, Content Curation.
