We are looking for a German-speaking Content Moderator to join our vibrant team in Lisbon.
This full-time, on-site role is perfect for individuals eager to make a meaningful impact while enjoying the dynamic energy of Lisbon's tech community.
No prior experience is required, though a background in content moderation or a related field is a plus.

Key Responsibilities Content Review & Moderation: Review user-generated content (posts, comments, images, videos) to ensure compliance with community guidelines, policies, and legal requirements.
Identify & Act on Harmful Content: Actively monitor and remove inappropriate, harmful, or illegal content to ensure a safe online space for all users.
Maintain Accuracy & Consistency: Make moderation decisions in line with internal policies, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Report Violations: Escalate complex issues or repeated policy violations to the appropriate teams, providing detailed reports when necessary.
Foster Positive Online Environments: Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging platform by enforcing guidelines and enhancing the user experience.
Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with fellow moderators, customer service, and legal teams to ensure smooth and effective moderation processes.
Your Profile Fluent in German: Proficiency in written and spoken German is essential for moderating German-language content.
English Communication Skills: Good command of English for team collaboration and internal communications.
Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach is key to reviewing and moderating content accurately.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to make quick, sound decisions in complex situations and escalate issues when needed.
Independent Worker: Comfortable managing tasks with limited supervision, especially in a fast-paced environment.
Cultural Awareness: Understanding of German cultural norms and sensitivities to effectively moderate content.
Experience (a plus): Any previous experience in content moderation, social media management, or online community engagement is beneficial but not required.
