About the jobWe're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Team. Being a part of José Saraiva's team offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of one of the most successful insurtech-startups in Germany, selling our services across Europe and Japan.
You'll have the flexibility to manage your time and tasks and a fantastic senior team of peers to work with. Feel free to explore our organization and check out our open-source repositories.
Key ResponsibilitiesBuild, manage and continuously improve our infrastructure and application stack in a multi cloud environmentPartner with the development team to manage the entire stack from development to deliveryBe an active voice and take key part in the decision making process and development of mission critical componentsBring to the teamLinux is your home and bash your backyardProficiency in provisioning and configuration management toolsStrong familiarity with AWS and/or GCP and experience managing highly available cloud backed systemsObservability, monitoring, tracing and alerting are not esoteric terms for youYou know what IaC is and embrace it wholeheartedlyYou are self organized, independent and enjoy being an active voice in shaping the company's development ecosystemYou are proficient in at least one of the following languages: golang (best), python, php, rust, clojureBonus points for experience in service orchestration, microservice architectures, CI/CD systems, and HashiCorp toolsWhat we offerAt simplesurance, you will get an all-round feel-good package including:
