Develop and implement sustainability compliance strategies: Design frameworks, processes, or reports to ensure the company meets current and upcoming sustainability regulations, such as the CSRD, CSDDD, Green Claims Directive etc. This includes managing and overseeing the company's carbon accounting practices. Data management: Oversee the collection, verification, and analysis of sustainability data to support reporting and compliance activities. Monitor regulatory changes and compliance risks: Stay updated on local, national, and international sustainability regulations and assess their impact on the company. Identify and evaluate compliance risks related to sustainability, proposing mitigation strategies to manage those risks effectively. Corporate Carbon Accounting: Manage and oversee the company's carbon accounting practices, including calculating carbon footprints, tracking emissions, and reporting on carbon reduction initiatives to ensure alignment with environmental goals and compliance with relevant regulations. Performance metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sustainability compliance to monitor effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Cross-departmental collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as legal, finance, and operations to ensure a cohesive approach to sustainability compliance.
