Job Description:Execute brand strategy and tactics in the field, manage assigned territory and targeted accounts, build strong customer relationships, and maximize sales performance while placing the patient at the center of efforts and operating within AbbVie's business code of conduct, policies, and all applicable laws and regulations. The role covers the center of Portugal.
Responsibilities: Develop and execute a call plan that achieves set call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to our main stakeholders: Physiatrists, Nurses, and Pharmacists, to maximize access and sales opportunities.Identify specific needs of HCPs and Institutions to develop customized projects and training programs.Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives to meet or exceed those objectives.Create pre-call plans using SMART objectives and execute post-call evaluations to continuously improve sales performance. Effectively handle objections and concerns to close on every sales call.Proactively serve customer needs and expectations to build trusted customer relationships and achieve win-win agreements between AbbVie and customers.Continuously build understanding of customer needs, territory market landscape, competitors, market segments, disease, product, clinical and sales expertise, and share this market intelligence with the infield team, brand team, and sales manager.Differentiating AbbVie's value proposition with health providers and identifying, developing, and maintaining disease state experts and speakers/advocates to maximize brand performance.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business-related field, or equivalent.Minimum of 5 years of experience in Pharmaceutical companies.Proven track record of success in selling and solid presentation skills.Demonstrates in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge and is recognized as an expert resource by all relevant stakeholders.Project management skills.Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools; possesses strategic and critical thinking capabilities.Proactively identifies customer style/behavior and adapts selling approach accordingly.Operates effectively in a matrix environment.English language proficiency verbally and in writing.Additional Information: AbbVie is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to operating with integrity, driving innovation, transforming lives, serving our community, and embracing diversity and inclusion.
