Our Internet and cloud intelligence platform delivers the only collectively powered view of the Internet, cloud and SaaS platforms, helping enterprises and service providers work together to identify problems before it impacts revenue, damages brand reputation, or halts employee productivity.In August 2020, Cisco Systems completed the acquisition of ThousandEyes, which now forms the ThousandEyes Business Unit within Cisco's Network Services Business Group, and is a foundational component of Cisco's growing Observability business.What is unique about this Project Manager role? This is the first time we are going to hire project managers, so you will have an opportunity to help us build our internal PM processes and shape the role based on your own experience.We look for people who are ready for that challenge, are not afraid to fail from time to time and learn from those failures together with us in a safe environment.Our engineers work with customers to implementThousandEyessolution and drive customer onboarding to the platform. Now we want to gotothe next level by having our own Project Management team. As a Project Manager, you will oversee technical implementation projects to ensure that use cases are deployed smoothly and on time. You willencountera variety of projects ranging froma fewdozen to thousands of hours with a lot of moving parts and demanding stakeholders. If all that sounds exciting to you, then you areprobably theright person for the jobRequired Experience Min. 2-3 + years of Project Management experienceDirect experience leading all phases of the IT software implementation project lifecycleRelevant Project Management certification: PRINCE2, PMP etc.Strong technical acumen Experience maintaining or implementing LAN/WAN environmentsFamiliarity with web technologies (deployment, maintenance, debugging) including REST APIsExperience running multiple projects simultaneously with cross-team dependenciesExperience working with senior level customer collaboratorsResponsibilitiesLead and plan the IT project implementation from the initiation until closureBuild strong customer and internal stakeholder relationships, create robust project plans and drive engagement successfully towards completionMonitor and track action items through to closure. Record and manage all decisions, risks or issuesCoordinate ThousandEyes project resources to drive performance Contribute to continuous PMO process improvements by promoting and highlighting successful experiences Act as a key contact for the customer and escalation point for project issuesDrive the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out andit'sacknowledgement by customerWhat are we looking for in a candidate?Able to take consultative approach ensuring scope and project boundaries are maintainedProblem solver who seeks the best solutions for both customers and ThousandEyes teamConfident and clear presenter Able to work creatively in environment where not all processes are presentMindset to improve existing processes when gaps/issues are uncovered Proactive and independent approach to assigned tasks and discovered issues** We are looking for candidates who are already based either in Lisbon, Portugal OR Krakow, Poland **
