Offer Description Overall project duration: 1 year
Brief description of the project: The ANR HETEROBN-C project (coordinated by Catherine MARICHY, LMI-Lyon) is dedicated to the fabrication and study of one-dimensional van der Waals heterostructures, combining carbon nanotubes and hexagonal boron nitride nanotubes. In this project, the Charles Coulomb Laboratory is responsible for the synthesis of carbon nanotubes and their characterization by Raman scattering, as well as for photoluminescence measurements in the UV-C spectral range.
Main mission: Raman scattering spectroscopy, Photoluminescence spectroscopy, Cryogenics
Definition of tasks: Experimental measurements (Raman, PL), Reports, Presentations, Writing publications
Precise description of the event or objective result determining the end of the contractual relationship as well as the methods of evaluation and control of this result: The contract will end on 31/12/2025, the end date of the ANR HeteroBN-C project. By this date, the person recruited must have obtained Raman scattering spectra of suspended carbon nanotubes, and photoluminescence spectra of boron nitride nanotubes synthesized either inside or outside carbon nanotubes.
