Environmental Technologist

We are looking for an individual who can provide field support for remediation and reclamation programs throughout Northern AB. To be successful, you should consider yourself a committed learner and good communicator who enjoys challenge and problem solving.
In this role, you will be a part of a supportive Environmental Consulting team based in the Grande Prairie and Fairview areas.
Make a Difference Contribute to Detailed Site Assessments (DSAs) assessing landscape, soils and vegetation
Collect and process a variety of water and soil samples
Support field teams in the completion of Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
Collaborate with the technical team to support and execute remediation and reclamation projects
Contribute to the preparation of reports that summarize program findings
Foster a culture committed to HSE excellence every day
Utilize Your Education and Expertise Undergraduate degree or diploma in science or land reclamation
Registration with or ability to register with a professional body
1+ years of field experience with ESAs, soil sampling, groundwater monitoring, site remediation, and reclamation
Knowledge of environmental regulations and guidelines
Strong interpersonal, communication, and technical writing skills
Motivated by a commitment to excellence and a strong sense of accountability
