Environmental Technologist

We are looking for an individual who can provide field support for remediation and reclamation programs throughout Northern AB. To be successful, you should consider yourself a committed learner and good communicator who enjoys challenge and problem solving.
In this role, you will be a part of a supportive Environmental Consulting team based in the Grande Prairie and Fairview areas.
Make a DifferenceContribute to Detailed Site Assessments (DSAs) assessing landscape, soils and vegetationCollect and process a variety of water and soil samplesSupport field teams in the completion of Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)Collaborate with the technical team to support and execute remediation and reclamation projectsContribute to the preparation of reports that summarize program findingsFoster a culture committed to HSE excellence every dayUtilize Your Education and ExpertiseUndergraduate degree or diploma in science or land reclamationRegistration with or ability to register with a professional body1+ years of field experience with ESAs, soil sampling, groundwater monitoring, site remediation, and reclamationKnowledge of environmental regulations and guidelinesStrong interpersonal, communication, and technical writing skillsMotivated by a commitment to excellence and a strong sense of accountabilityEmphasis on team accomplishments over individual successKeen attention to detailDemonstrated cost control processesShare in our ValuesWe look for people who have shared values when we add new members to the 360 team.
