Overall objective First-line support is the initial point of contact for users who are experiencing problems or issues with the SAP system. He/she will interact with users, understand their problems and solve their tickets in case of level 1 incidents, otherwise assign to level 2 support team.
Responsibilities and tasks Troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related cases.Provide initial triage to SAP users and solve, where possible, their issues.Where necessary assign the tickets with all the necessary information to SAP L2 supportFacilitate communications across all parties (Business Owners, Business/Technical Analysts, etc.) Qualifications Associate's or bachelor's degree in computer science or accounting or equivalent experience Intermediate (B2+) English is a mustExperience 2+ years of experience in a technical support role.Expert on SAP +1 years operational SAP or accounting experience.Exposure to FICO modules including submodules (GL, AA, AP, AR, CO-CCA, EC-PCA)Knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS) is an advantage.Knowledge of SAP FSCM and LO-AB is an advantage.Working knowledge and expertise with a variety of software, hardware, and applications.Willingness to support SAP users and translate their requests for L2 support.Analytical skills to study problems/records and identify solutions.Team-oriented attitude to help other colleagues and departments with technical problems.Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.Ability to manage time and effectively prioritize numerous tasks at one time.Experience of training users is and advantage
