We have more than 150 active partners and we operate in sectors such as banking, insurance, telecommunications, services, energy and transports. What are you going to do? Managing a team of accountants providing services to the Group in different countries including recruitment, training, staff assessment and deciding on the distribution of work within the team; Ensure Internal Control is adhered to and strengthen processes whenever needed; Managing the books of the Portuguese entity including all accounting aspects; Entering financial data and transactions into the ledger; Reviewing financial documents for accuracy and reconciling accounts; Ensuring financial records comply with regulatory standards (internal and external); Generating financial reports; Collaborating with otherdepartments to complete accurate records and provide accounting support; Preparing taxes or gathering tax documents; Supporting the Auditor, Controller, and other financial professionals in their duties as needed; Performing end-to-end closing including reporting data into the consolidation tool; Preparing local statutory statements. What are we looking for? Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; Chartered accountant in Portugal; 3+ years of experience in an accounting role within a multinational environment; Demonstrated ability to navigate and use SAP successfully; Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel; Process-oriented thinking; Works on initiatives to improve project accounting operations and document management process; Independent and conscientious way of working; Strong analytical and effective problem-solving skills to identify and correct issues; Ability to work on a team and independently; Experience in Finance Shared Services for a Global Company is a strong plus; Selects and hires employees for the group mentioned above; Excellent knowledge of (reading, writing, and speaking) English. Other languages are a plus (German, French, Swedish). What do we have to offer you?
