Are you ready to venture into an exciting opportunity within a dynamic and innovative engineering environment? We're looking for an exceptional Engineering Operations Specialist to join our team.
This individual will play a critical role within our engineering department, acting as a central figure, working closely with three different squads and bridging communications with our customer-facing teams.
Squad Coordination : Facilitate effective collaboration among our three engineering squads, manage duty schedules, track and report efforts, ensure efficient work allocation, and handle holiday requests for seamless operations.
Analytics and Reporting : Assume responsibility for tracking our Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), setting up dashboards, and generating insightful reports to bolster operational efficiency.
General Engineering Tasks : Execute a broad spectrum of operational tasks, including platform translations.
Stakeholder Communications : Serve as the primary conduit for communication between customer-facing teams and engineering squads, promoting an efficient and collaborative information flow.
Strategic Planning : Developing long-term strategies to improve operational efficiency and achieve business goals.
What you'll need to be successful:
Preferred Technical Skills : Proficiency with Atlassian products such as Jira, Confluence, and Opsgenie.
Organizational Skills : Exceptional organizational and management abilities vital for maintaining smooth operations.
Communication Skills : Excellent command of English, necessary for effective communication with internal teams.
Adaptive Learning Skills : A keen appetite for learning and a readiness to adapt rapidly in an ever-changing environment.
Interpersonal Skills: This role requires a great ability to be assertive and be able to exercise leadership in order to motivate the team to reach their results and be able to establish priorities clearly and appropriately.
As an Engineering Operations Specialist, you'll be at the helm of fostering communication and coordination among varied teams. Juggling high levels of inter-departmental interaction with focused organization and structure, you'll significantly contribute to our dynamic engineering operations.
