Global Payroll Process Owner

Location: Portugal, Poland, Czech Republic or Hungary A Snapshot of Your Day As part of a wider HR transformation program and the spin-off of Siemens Energy from Siemens, the payroll operating model moving forward will be fully comprehensive, split between a professional HR BPO for zero to gross processing and managed payroll (gross to net) with industry leading payroll providers. We are looking for a Global Payroll Process Owner responsible for overseeing the overall end2end payroll process working alongside a global and diverse team of senior payroll leaders, global experts and external stakeholders ensuring and maintaining fit-for-purpose processes, governing end-to-end delivery in a timely and accurate manner.
How You'll Make an Impact Lead a team of 5+ specialized colleagues within the Payroll Center of Excellence, reporting directly to the Global Head of Payroll at Siemens Energy Drive Siemens Energy's HR transformation by streamlining system landscape, reorganizing payroll set-up, and changing HR delivery model Provide strategic guidance to the Payroll leadership team, advising on payroll strategy implementation and exploring new opportunities Oversee global payroll processes from end-to-end, continuously improving procedures, ensuring compliance with local laws, and approving standardized process documentation and local deviations Collaborate with HR Systems team to lead digital payroll transformation, automating processes, optimizing HR systems, and driving efficiencies and cost savings. Implement controls for consistent and SOX compliant payroll solutions, adhering to country-specific laws and regulations Work closely with IT, Finance, and external vendors on system design, improvements, and integrations Establish and monitor process-related Key Metrics, analyze advanced payroll and time reports, and manage audits and compliance reviews globally.
