Integrated in the Strategy & Business Development team, the Associate Innovation & Business Development Analyst will provide support in the external innovation efforts and contribute broadly to collecting, managing, and analysing market data to provide competitive intelligence that will support the strategic decision making related to BIAL's research and development pipeline.
The Impact You'll Make
• Analyse the pharmaceutical industry trends and developments, including the review of corporate information and maintain the internal database;
• Identify new themes and opportunities in the pharmaceutical market, by analysing qualitative and quantitative data in the external market;
• Analyse existing products, new molecules in the market and competitors with a focus on major markets;
• Analyse and recommend potential therapeutic and business areas of interest for BIAL;
• Contribute to building forecast models and models to support market access including value based pricing;
• Support in conducting primary and secondary Market Research;
• Assist in constructing internal databases and use external databases to provide analytical information;
• Collaborate across other functional teams to support integration of information into strategic planning recommendations and manage internal and external relationships to drive more innovative outcomes for the organization.
What You'll Bring
• Educational background in Life Sciences;
• Interest in neurosciences, particularly in the branch of neurology;
• 0-1 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry;
• Fluency in English (C1 Advanced level mandatory);
• Analytical thinking and ability to find and propose solutions;
• Ability to multitask across projects;
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
This is a temporary position to cover a maternity leave.
