.Development Director - Savannah Resources: CSG Talent are excited to announce that we are now exclusive hiring partners to Savannah Resources. Savannah Resources are the sole owner of the Barroso Lithium Project (BLP), in Northern Portugal. BLP contains the most significant spodumene Lithium resource in Western Europe. The company are progressing with the development and licensing of this project and are currently in process of completing their Definitive Feasibility Study. We are currently leading the search for an experienced Development Director to join Savannah in Northern Portugal and to lead the overall development of the project. The role will sit as part of the executive team and will take responsibility for all DFS and final licensing activities for Savannah Resources as the project develops throughout each phase. This role will be a key member of the BLP leadership team through the Front End Engineering Design (FEED), Construction, Ramp Up and into production. The Development Director will be responsible for all day-to-day activities relating to the development of the mine project, leading staff and providing industry expert level advice at each step of the development of the mine. This is a great opportunity to join Savannah early in their journey and have a very major impact on the development of one of the most significant new Lithium mines in the world. The position will have a wide ranging set of responsibilities and expectations associated with it given the nature and seniority of the position. In particular that will include co-ordinating with the c-suite team through the completion of the required licensing to complete the development of the project, co-ordinating and managing the entire development process with DFS and Final Licencing. The position will oversee the project from site, working with the project team throughout each stage of development through to production. Also key to the role will be providing support to the CEO with the management of external stakeholders, in developing and implementing board approved business plans, budgets, and strategies. To be considered for this role we are looking for highly experienced senior leaders with at least 20 years of Mining experience with significant exposure to mine development, construction and mine production, within an open pit environment. We are also looking for direct experience of leading licensing and DFS, experience with FEED, mine construction and the initial production ramp up of a new mine. We can consider a variety of backgrounds as long as the required experience is met however someone from a mine engineering or metallurgy background would be preferable. Very well developed team leadership, development and growth skills are essential as well as the ability to work with and manage multiple external stakeholders in complex environments
