Overview:
The Corporate Application Manager at Carrier Commercial Refrigeration (CCR) will join the regional DT operations team. The role involves maintaining, supervising the implementation and performance of software applications across the organization for global functions such as Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, HR, and Communications.
The candidate will collaborate with different departments and IT teams to guarantee that the applications fulfill business requirements and operate both efficiently and effectively.
Additionally, the candidate will ensure that all applications adhere to company policies, including data privacy and security, and align with industry standards.
This position reports to the IT Regional & Service Manager. Responsibilities:
Conduct regular reviews with global function leaders (Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, HR & Communications);
Manage and oversee the operation, evolutions & projects of the company's software applications for this domain. Some of these applications are; HFM/ FDM/ Blackline for Finance, Docusign/ OneTrust/ MK Denial for Legal, Concur/ Cora for Supply Chain, SDL Tridion for Communications, Contract Management tool;
Identify opportunities for application improvement, cost reduction and system enhancements;
Collaborate with business and key IT stakeholders to plan, prioritize and schedule applications development and enhancement requests, while providing direction and guidance to the application development team members;
Accountable for availability and performance of applications portfolio, including ownership of incidents and release management;
Generate regular reports on application support metrics, highlighting trends, and proposing improvements;
Responsible for identifying potential risks and implementing security measures to mitigate them;
Drives stakeholder satisfaction by delivering quality applications and support with controlled and planned change management;
Communicate project status to various levels of management;
Collaborate with software vendors to report and resolve product-related issues;
Evaluate and negotiate service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors to ensure optimal support;
Evaluate on regular basis the needs and use of licenses with business;
Ensure high level of security to maintain data confidentiality;
Conduct root cause analysis for major incidents and implement preventive measures;
Responsible for managing budgets and resources. This includes identifying opportunities for cost savings and managing projects to ensure that they are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should be an effective team player with the ability to adjust their communication style to collaborate successfully across various functions and cultures;
5 to 8 years of relevant work experience;
Experience in a management or supervisory role;
Project management skills;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Proactive and high energy;
Demonstrated ability to excel in a global matrix organization;
Strong interpersonal written/verbal communication skills;
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks;
Must be fluent in English.
Must have:
Expertise in business process analysis, requirements gathering, solution design and development, vendor management, enterprise application support and strong business understanding;
Proven experience in managing relationships with vendors/ consultants, IT teams and internal stakeholders;
Have interest in experimenting with new technologies to see where they can benefit the business.
Nice to have:
Ability to champion enterprise initiatives and business change;
Capability to coordinate numerous activities simultaneously;
Willingness to travel up to 10%.
