Offer Description The NanoDyn project will be carried out entirely at the IBMM in Montpellier but is part of a collaboration with an industrial partner.
Responsibilities include:
Carry out the synthesis and characterization of original organic components used in the composition of lipid formulations for the vectorization of nucleic acids.
Organic synthesis, purification (chromatography, HPLC), characterizations (NMR, mass spectrometry).
Establishment and characterization of the conditions for the formation and dissociation of dynamic covalent assemblies.
Formulation (DLS) and evaluation of nucleic acid complexation (gel electrophoresis).

Education Level: PhD or equivalent
Skills/Qualifications Applicants must have a doctorate in chemistry (or be in the process of obtaining one) before taking up their position. The successful candidate should have expertise in organic chemistry and advanced spectroscopy, and preferably also experience in interdisciplinary projects. Responsibilities include managing your own research and administrative activities, small-scale project management, testing hypotheses, and analyzing scientific data.
Specific Requirements Required Qualifications/Experience:
PhD in synthetic chemistry
In-depth knowledge and practical experience in organic chemistry (synthesis, analysis, and characterization) is mandatory.
Knowledge and experience in formulation is a plus.
Strong knowledge and experience in structure-activity relationships is a plus.
Proven ability to take initiatives and carry out tasks independently.
Proven experience in project management.
In-depth knowledge of scientific writing and technical reports.
Team player with excellent communication skills and fluent in French and English.
