Associate Director, Shared Services Finance This position is for an exciting new role in our Global Delivery Operations organization as an account manager for our source to settle and account payable services. The Account Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the communication, task assignments, and operational processes within the StS department for North America. This role involves working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring smooth operations, and driving process improvements. The Account Lead will also play a key role in stakeholder communication, training, and managing operational reviews.Responsibilities:First line communication with stakeholders and suppliers to ensure alignment on priorities and expectationsProvide prioritization of operational issues based on supplier criticality and degree/impact of issues across invoice processing, supplier payments, and employee expense managementMake educated decisions, drive ownership of resolution, and measure complexityWork closely with back-office operations to ensure performance service level agreements and key performance indicators are met while ensuring workload balanceAssign tickets to appropriate teams, ensuring timely resolution of issuesTake ownership of tasks and projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scopeManage and mentor account leads and coach them through their daily activitiesCollaborate with other leads throughout the Business Technology/Master Data Management/Accounting to Reporting/Procurement/Finance/Global Process Ownership teamsFollow up on outstanding tasks and issues to ensure closure and resolutionMaintain accountability for the accuracy and timeliness of all processes within the accounts payable function for North AmericaIdentify opportunities to improve operational execution and champion initiatives to drive efficiency and effectiveness across invoice processing, payments, and employee expense managementApply continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operational workflows and reduce bottlenecksConduct regular reviews of performance to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement within the STS function. Partner with STS GPO team to provide feedback, identify improvement projects, lead change management, and train others as needed.Develop and present reports to stakeholders, providing insights into operational performance and opportunities for enhancementProvide training and support to stakeholders, ensuring they are well-equipped to work with the Account Payable Source to Settle functionServe as a champion for process and system changes, guiding stakeholders through transitions smoothlySingle point of contact for Internal Controls and Internal Audit, providing necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries and implement improvements in the internal controlsOwner of internal controls to ensure that all accounts payable transactions are compliant with SOX requirementsPreferred Education, Experience, and Skills:Bachelor's degree (master's degree preferred) in business administration, supply chain, procurement, or an equivalent degree in a relevant field.7+ years demonstrated experience managing accounts payable operations7+ years working in a shared services environmentHighly accountable person who seeks to find answers for othersStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to manage multiple tasks and make informed decisionsExperience with process improvement and operational efficiency initiativesProficiency in Coupa and S4Analytical thinking and problem-solvingExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and take initiativeStrong understanding of Accounts Payable processes and best practicesAnalytical minded with an ability to analyze complex information and data setsA bias for action and decision making with an ability to influence without authorityStrong technical writing skills to be able to translate stakeholder business needs into a comprehensive list of requirementsEmbody and role model the values of Organon and the Global Delivery Operations team in every aspect of roleWork under pressure to meet deadlinesNegotiation and influence and dealing with ambiguity.Problem solving and critical thinking.Teamwork orientation with Strong customer service and collaboration mind-setProcess improvement and drive for results.Organizational agility and prioritization.Assertive Communication and proactivity.Deliver efficiencies, compliance, and control through standardizationAttention to detailsWho We Are:Organon delivers ingenious health solutions that enable people to live their best lives.
