Recruitment of a Research Technician with a Master Degree (employment contract)
FCiências.ID - Associação para a Investigação e Desenvolvimento de Ciências announces the opening of an international call for the recruitment of a Research Technician with a MSc Degree, within the scope of the project EÓLICAS OFFSHORE.
I. Admission Requirements Applicants may include Portuguese nationals, foreign and stateless persons, with a MSc degree in Biology or similar areas, and must fully comply with the following requirements:
Experience in data treatment and analysis - information provided in the CV and/or motivation letter.
Proven experience in laboratory activities in the field of biology or related areas - information provided in the CV and/or motivation letter.
Relevant scientific and/or professional training in phytoplankton - information provided in the CV and/or motivation letter.
Proficiency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken) - information provided in the CV and motivation letter.
IV. Work plan The PRR C21-i07_01 project aims to carry out an environmental characterization of areas established for the installation of offshore wind energy generation infrastructures. The studies will contribute relevant information for the development of offshore wind farms and future environmental impact studies.
The work plan includes:
Collaborate with the project team in organizing and executing sampling campaigns;
Collect and process phytoplankton samples aboard the campaigns;
Process and analyse phytoplankton samples in the laboratory;
Compile results into databases and participate in statistical treatment;
Study past oceanographic cruises conducted by IPMA and extract phytoplankton data;
Collaborate in the production of technical/scientific results for the project.
VIII. Monthly Allowance The gross monthly salary corresponds to 1.385,99 Euros, plus holiday and Christmas allowances, as well as food allowance.
